Well, that's ghey. The pic in the magazine looks like a taller truck-style manifold.

You should have asked them if they were using a water pump on this test engine. LOL

 

The pic in the mag looks taller because the top and base of the manifold was separated, they are two piece manifolds. Just can;t tell from how dark the pic is. Besides, you can find better ways to spend $800 than a manifold that would only make you more power at higher RPMs and higher power levels.

 

Yeah, but with all of these turbo kits coming out, I'm sure that there are plenty of truck guys that could take advantage of the FAST intake.

 

I have an ATI on my truck and I probably would see alittle gain from using the FAST intake. Big discussion on this in the FI section of how much a larger TB and intake would help on an FI car if any at all since air is accelerated through. They were comparing air density, efficiency, how much boost, etc. More than I would ever know
