lt1 efans on 5.3 radiator

Default lt1 efans on 5.3 radiator

Anyone using lt1 fans on a 5.3 will they work

I've heard they were exactly like the ls1 fans except with vents so they should.

Yes they will work just fine , i used some 3/4''x1/8'' flat stock and made four brakets to hold the fans in place . Pretty easy to do .

Looks just like mine.


EDIT: Actually I only have the top two brackets like yours, I let the bottom of the shroud sit in the metal channel that is at the bottom of the radiator. It holds it pretty good on its own.

i drilled holes through the fans and zip tied them, lol

that install looks great Im assuming they hav the same quick connects as the ls1 fans.

Saw your sig you really need hp tuners its well worth the money to be able to tune your truck yourself

Yeh they have the quick connects , so with the nelson harness its pretty much plug and play . good luck with your install .

Yeh im trying to figure out if i want a mail order tune or drop $500 on HPtuners .

mailorder tunes are 450
Dont get me started go straight for HP tuners anyone who is serious about making there engine perform to its potential will have the drive to sit down and read/learn how to tune. 99.99999% of the time you arent wot and thats where you need hp tuners, I picked up 2/10 ths with part throttle tuning in the 1/8!!! Plus I get better gas mileage, drivability, more power and the list goes on and on. Not taking anything away from the mailorder guys but for 50 extra bucks you can have a complete tune, well worth the time and money.
