Re: LT1 OR LS1 FANS??
They are the same except the LT1 fans have slots cut out in the piece that holds the fans. Personally, I like the LT1's better because I believe it allows more flow through the radiator, but that's just my opinion. But either will fit, you just have to make your own mounting kit.

Thanks for the responses.Seems like the best way to go for the price.I'm gonna start looking and see if i can find some.I like anything that will free up some hp and doesnt require any tuning.

Where is everyone getting their ignition power for their fans under the hood? I have mine wired under the dash and I want to relocate that wire to under the hood.

Re: LT1 OR LS1 FANS??
I installed some LT1 fans about a month ago, it was pretty straight forward. I got the fans off of E-bay and the wiring relay from Kragans. The fans were 103$ shipped and the relay was about $35. I also put all the wiring in the black wiring jackets to make it look factory, looks pretty good. I have both fans set up to come on at about 195*, I used an infra-red heat gun we have at work and just let the truck idle unitl the fans came on at the temp I wanted. The fans have only come on about 3-4 times since I've had them, each time it was about 70* and I was sitting at a stop light for a while. They only run for about minute then go off. They fit in the lower radiator support and I made up two brackets to support the top. You can use the bolt and bolt holes that are used to hold the top part of the shroud in place. Hope this helps!
