the plugs i have are pretty much brand new tr55's as of ~june'06 but ill try that anyways, at this point im pretty much looking for any solution. keep the advice coming people ill try everything!

are you sure the fan shrounds are all sitting correctly?

there isnt a fan shroud on the efan, just the unit, but its sitting fine. seems to be doing better now, it sat in Home depot parking lot running and temps didnt rise with the a/c on.

sounds like a broke plug...they are cheap....replace all your sparkplugs and go from there....

I would do just like Bud8 said,try that and then go from there.The crack on a plug could be so small it may not even be visable and that is all it takes.
