also got to checking i have to buy a old style timing set becuase the 07's cam sprocket has one large bolt instead of the traditional 3 bolts.
heres what the cam sounds like in another truck i found on you tube.

Thats funny. I found that vid a few weeks ago and love it too. I'm planning about the same thing as you are on an 08 lifted avy. I think I am set on the thorley headers. I am going to call on monday if i get a chance to find the part number for the coated lt's. At the moment, I want the same cam but it will be a while before i cam it (getting low on funds for a college kid). I think this will finish my truck (famous last words) at least for a while. What are you going to run after the headers? I'm thinking of a magnaflow. Cant decide if i need a bullet or not though. Anyways, good luck. I'd love to see how it turns out. Will you have any before/after numbers?

As of right now i am running a flowmaster super 44 cat-back duals. After i install the pacesetter lt's and y pipe i am going to come out and run single out with a warlock cuase it has the builtin cut out,
man for the money the pacesetters are a nice choice. the rest of the headers are nice but are way high. after the cam, pushrods and valve springs i thing that it for a while till i save some money for a good streetworthy supercharger, maybe a turbo but i have a while to figure that out....but the 212/218 .530 .530 114lsa cam seems to be a good streetable cam, ill let ya know in a week or two howit turns out.

I bought a diablosport predator u7194 8r10 just for two things, those were to eliminate torque managment and disable the rear o2 sensors. When i recieved it those two are not on the predator. So know after contacting diablosport i have to wait untill they come up with the update for those options, TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY...lol my buddy has a friend that tunes with a HPtuner so i fig i would get the cam and lts on and take it to him for a pro tune. will it hurt to drive my truck with the sensors unplugged before i get a chance to take it in for a tune?

Everythings going good, i went with a diff cam. I went with a 216 220 .560 .560 114lsa and springs and hardended pushrods. I since have added Harris Speed Works wet nitrous kit, 100 shot. followed by a live tune from HP tune.so Gonna try to get to the track this weekend weather permitting. Should have some nitrous numbers soon. On motor i made around 305 rwhp and 317 rwtq. I like to get around 400 rwhp before i get my longtubes and y in
