Where did you find a VHP trucker cam available?

Anyways, I think the Voodoo cam will lope more, and will run strong in a N/A 6.0

However, the trucker cam WILL give you alot of torque N/A, and if you ever decide to go F/I, you can keep the trucker. It has been proven to work well N/A or F/I. Not many cams can do that.

I think both cams will run strong and both cams will lope. The trucker cam gives you the option of going FI, if you ever wanted to, and not have to change cams.

The specs are similar, but I'm sure that the lobe designs and valve events are different. Both cams seem like they would make good torque and pull to the advertised RPM's. The Lunati should lope slightly more, but neither of them will be really lopey in a 6.0 if properly tuned. I went with the Vinci Trucker myself, which is currently sitting in the box under my bed

The trucker cam has a nice lope in my LQ4 and it's tuned by BBP

thunder550 ran the trucker cam in his blown 6.0 and it had a choppy idle...i bought it from him and put it in a N/A 5.3 and it had a nice idle and made nice power.

Unless you're planning a major cam swap after this one, those springs are definitely overkill. A lot of guys will say that you can never have too much spring, but I disagree...I don't see the need to put the extra stress on the valvetrain unless it's necessary, especially since you have to pull the heads to change the lifters that may wear prematurely due to the extreme seat pressure that I'm sure those springs have.

Crane was bought a few months ago, (I believe the company that bought them is S&S Cycles IIRC), so it's possible that they may be turning cams out again. When I bought my Trucker cam Roger Vinci told me that he only had one or two left at the time, (I think I got the cam this summer? no more than 6 monts ago), so I'm not sure if you got one of the few that he had left or if they're grinding new ones.
