Default AS&M headers

Who has the best price on as&m long tubes? I figure since the motor is out to the machine shop (cracked # 7 piston) I might as well have a suprise for it when it gets back.

do you know why your piston cracked? how much boost were you running? were you watching you a/f ratio(o2's)?

i am going to try and push my stock longblock so it would be interesting to know why yours died?

a/f showed good i dont remember the numbers it was the end of nov. we suspect that cyl went to lean I talked to a couple of other people that had simalar results.Detonation killed it.We are going with 9.0 comp.,ross pistons,30 over,have not picked acam yet.ARPbolts ,studs,port& polished heads, balanced& blueprinted maybe more if i have to.

and what kind of gas were you running? how do you get your extra fuel? did you hear it detonating?

No I dont have water inj.The gas was 5 gal 104, with about 4 gal 93. My vortech came with an FMU. Yeah I heard it detonating but my foot wasnt listening. We are also getting the parts together to put an aftercooler on it.And there are some Hoosier 28/10/16 siicks just waiting to get roasted... Ill be looking for some good numbers when it all comes together.
