MAF Sensor
I exchanged my K&N FIPK Intake for my Dad's stock air box because of the Electric Fans I installed. I am about to install my new Volant CAI and I thought of something. When I exchanged the K&N for the OEM I did not swap the MAF sensors from my '00 to his '03. Is it going to hurt my truck if the MAF sensor is from a 2003?

I just looked up the MAF Sensor part# for the 2000 Silverado and it is the same for the 99-03 Silverados, The 04-05 Sensors have a different part#. I will probably change just in case.

I've had so many MAFs swapped back and forth between my vehicles, that I've lost count. There isn't any difference between them. Once, I removed the screen from my 99s MAF then a few months later swapped it for one off a 2002 rental truck that I had. My current 03 SS is running the MAF off my 2001 tahoe.
