Default MAF sensor diameter

Will the stock maf sensor fit into a 5" diameter hump hose? If not, larger or smaller? Getting all of my parts together for my new intake tube setup. Thanks

I think the stock maf sensor is about 3.5".

So, if I'm going to run 4" from the throttle body to the maf, I'll just need to get a hump hose reducer from a 4" to a 3 1/2" for a tight fit, or just stay with a 4" all the way to the filter? I just noticed my post, and I meant to post 4" instead of 5". I'm kinda slow tonight.

A 3"Fernco coupling will pull down on the stock throttlebody, why not run 3" hose or pipe?

Is 4" over kill? I know I can run a 3" to 4" 90 degree at the throttlebody. Then run to the MAF, put in the hump hose reducer to 3.5 for the MAF.
Would option #2 be the best bet? 3" all the way to the maf, hump hose reducer 3.5 to 3"?

How are the universal filters measured? For instance, if I run 3.5 out to where the filter connects, what diameter do I need to know to get the right filter? Thanks again. guys.

I have seen K&N cone filters with a 3 1/2" opening where you clamp it on.
