man that kinda hurts my pride, oh well. we will just have to do something to compensate for the low power
The ol 81 c10 would look good with one of those under the hood

Could it be because they considered 285 at the crank and you have drivetrain losses?

That's exactly why. I know the manufacturer uses the crank hp rating because it sounds better but I think its misleading. Check out NakedAV's math equation above. I guess I could reverse it and see what my crank hp is but I haven't dyno'd it since the 6L swap. The best part IMO about the Radix is the instant TQ not the hp increase. I got a 100lb tq increase with the Radix as well.
