Beers are on me.....But you will be flying on a cargo jet filled with plastic dog toys!

I think I am going to leave it the way it is for now and just take it easy....

Does anyone have a built tranny? Have you noticed a "whine" with the 5 gear panetary set?

What size pulley did you get? 14psi .. thats insane!

work in progress: the MagnaCharger is already intercooled, so no need for alky.

With a 3" pulley my Tahoe makes 9 1/2lb of boost as soon as I hit the gas it will peak about 11lb at 6000rpm at the shutoff. What size pulley are you running and is the 14lb of on throttle tip in or peak?14lb of boost is not uncommon for a Ford Lightning running oversized lower and undersized supercharger pulleys. The port location on the radix is at a more effecient rear location instead of the Lightning's top location so more power is made with less boost.

I pulled the pulley off of a sidemount magnacharger I removed off of a customers truck in trade for a radix.....I am not sure on the pulley size but it appears to be about 1/2 inch smaller than my 3.4 pulley. I looked closer at the gauge and noticed that it makes and instant 12 psi and climbs to 13 at the top of the rpm range....I guess my 14 psi was a little off, but it sure did look like it when I glanced at the gauge while Shitting in my pants! Final descision on boost 12-13.

My tranny was the first to start letting go. I had it rebuilt, so all is well there now. The guy who rebuilt it said it was a thousand wonders how I was getting anywhere when it went into OD, and that there was some very obvious damage to the 1st gear stuff and the 1-2 shift stuff to let it slip like hell. My rear end is still holding up with p285/75/16 BFG AT's.

I think I am going to order that 3" pulley that whitt1 is using. I may even go smaller once I redo the valve train from the cam to p/p heads to get my boost back up to ~9 or 10.

Damn blownchevy! Very cool about the boost increase! Its great that it starts at 12 but only rises 1 psi. That means you are getting almost your max boost instanstly, thats what a supercharger is all about!

I wonder how long that tranny of yours will last? You said you had like 10K miles on the Jet tranny you have now right? If it holds up much longer I think the Jet tranny is gonna be the way to go! Can't wait to see what kinda power you put down this sunday! Your quarter times should be crazy too!
