Check out the new hot rod mag. The new ford 5.4 500hp engine has a eaton 'twin screw' charger on it. They show a cut away and it sure is a screw type. maybe magnacharger is going this direction???

Eaton builds twinscrew superchargers under a license agreement with Lysholm,I think they actually build Whipple's supercharger as well as the OEM unit for the new Ford GT.Magnuson is the sole aftermaket provider for the Eaton rootes supercharger in the US.Magnacharger is the division of Magnuson that sells supercharger kits to the public, I doubt they would be willing to switch to a twinscrew unit with all the development time they have invested in the rootes supercharger. If they did one I'd really like to have a twinscrew with a built in bypass.
