MagnaFlow
I've got this 2011 avalanche and i want an exhaust system on it and everyone has pointed to magnaflow but i was already thinking them... I have been looking on youtube at exhaust and love the corsa sport on the avalanche but i'm looking for that deep sound but doesn't need attention cause i don't want to feel like i'm back in high school but when i get on it i want it to roar and i know nothing about magnaflow mufflers and where to start can anyone point me in the direction of what sounds like what... i also want to make them turn downs behind the rear axle cause i hate seeing the tail pipes

After the stall 50% throttle

and then a fly by... really old fly by but sounds about the same

You are on the right track listening to sound clips in youtube. Are you looking for a muffler swap or a full exhaust system?
Corsa makes a really nice exhaust with little to no drone but can get pricey. The muffler swap is certainly the cheaper route.

I have a Magnaflow 3" in / dual2.5" out, 7x14 I think. Nice and quiet at first but got louder over time and the packing material broke in. Mine is dumped out the side in front of the rear tire. Sounds good around town but a little too loud for my taste, especially on the highway. I'd go with a larger/longer one next time.

Here is my Magnaflow exhaust:
remove your resonator, cats, and stock muffler. use efi-live to tune out your O2 sensors, and replace the resonator with a 3" straight pipe, either get a 3" in 3" out dyno max bullet or 18x6 round magna flow with a 45 or 65 degree turn down. this set up will run you about $100-$200. you can use the factory exhaust piping between the straight pipe and your muffler. if you decide to keep your cats go with the dyno max race bullet. keep it simple and cheap, its only exhaust
