Magnaflow Muffler!

Default Magnaflow Muffler!
This is a stupid Qusetion? But I bought my Magnaflow Muffler used & it is a 3inch going in one end & a Dual 3 inch out the other!

1st Will I gain any HP from just changing the stock muffler to a Magnaflow

2nd I was going to Dump the Magna flow! But which end do I dump? My stock muffler goes single & single out & the Magna flow is single on one side & dual on the other! So I am guessing I dump the Dual side out & have the single side welded up to the stock pipes?

Dual side dumped you will gain a little in the seat of the pants feel. Full catback would be better. If you dump it the interior resonance is going to be more.

Magnaflows are straight thru, so it shouldnt matter. eigthor run dual to the muffler, or dual out the muffler.

Just do the single inlet and dump the dual outlets. I farther back you mount the muffler toward the axle,the less interior resonance you will get.
