No to long ago I redid my exhaust. I put on a Magnaflow pn#14568. Its a 5x11 stainless 2.5" dual in/dual out single muffler. I didnt want the little ones becuase I didnt care for the way they sounded plus I was removing the cats, putting on Pacesetter LT's,and 2.5" mandrel all the way around. It was very LOUD even at idle. Im not kidding it was LOUD. At the time I wasnt running turndowns just straight muffler so that had alot to do with it. I know have turndowns and it quieted down some at idle. I really like it.

I went by a couple of exhaust place today and they wanted $120-150 /muffler or $260-300 for the dual in/ dual out muffler, this does not include installation. Installation ranged from $100-150/muffler plus tail pipes ($200). In all these estimates are very high, I paid $240 for both flowmasters, tailpipes, and installation. So my plans are to purchase the muffler(s) (have not decided on which style) from a vendor or another source and install them myself, bending the exhaust tubing will not be problem since I can get access to a bender. If I do the install myself I should be able to buy some highflow cats (just like Moregrip has on this truck), LT, muffler(s), and pipe and should be right about the same price as I was quoted ($800 for duals, or $650 for dual in/dual out muffler).
If anybody know of a exhaust shop in Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston) that is cheap let me know so I can give them a call.
