OK, here are a couple of WAV files

http://www.thecairns.com/SS/MagnaFlow1.wav 705 KB

http://www.thecairns.com/SS/MagnaFlow2.wav 1.8 MB

These are recorded while the truck is in Park. It does sound meaner when under load, but you can get the idea of what it's tone is.

I collected your questions and asked MagnaFlow about them:

When the final product will be ready to ship?

Ship date will be published after the first production run is made (should not be much more than 1 month)
Is MagnaFlow currently marketing this set-up yet?

This part is now approved by engineering and will go into next month’s production cycle(2-3 weeks.)
Do you know the price?

MSRP will be released in the next week.
What is the part number?

15838
Is there a real need for the resonators?

The resonators are NOT needed from a performance stand point but for driving comfort and overall tone and exhaust note they are a must. The new resonator does not prove to be any detriment to power. We revised the resonators to utilize a larger than originally designed core to maintain the performance of the system.
What's the inlet/outlet size of the mufflers, and casing size?

Front resonators 2 - 4x4x14 mufflers (2.5” core)
Primary muffler 1 – 5x8x24 muffler (dual 2.5” core with internal perforated “X”

True Duals?
We will also be releasing the 15841 true-dual system (see attached) shortly. As you can see it is 60% the same design with a smaller muffler due to the change in the exhaust wave formations due to the long dual tail pipes. This system is about 2 dBa louder inside and about 4 dBa louder outside. Resonance character and level is the same.
