Default Manifold flexing

I noticed that when i give my truck more gas the intake flexes.... Its an l76 truck intake.... On my 99 with a 92mm tb... Figure it normal just wondering if anyone else had noticed the same with the nnbs intakes.... As much as it flexes i would be scared to have it ported for fear it would be weakened and crack...

Mine did that...pretty sure they all flex somewhat. I did the math at one point, and at idle with good vacuum there is probably 1000lb of force trying to crush the intake.

Gives a whole new meaning to letting the engine breathe... I expected it would,if anything, contract some, but mine expands... Nowhere near as much with this new cam but the old one was scary to watch.... Guessing the valves werent open enough for all the air its pulling in or so it seems... If thats any indication, i need more lift and duration lol!!! If i buy any more cams they are not going in that truck... I have a camaro that is feeling quite neglected!!!
