Default Mass air, Throttle body (worth it or not)

My truck is in my sig. And have a couple of questions about my setup.

Is the stock throttle body and mass air to small for the 6.0? Does the 6.0 have a bigger mass and tb? It does whistle at part throttle and seems to want more air but can't suck it in. I have a custom made 4 inch mandrel bent CAI with 8 in k&n filter. I have a cable driven TB. Does the corvette have a different mass & tb? I want to just change the whole setup to a fast 90mm but don't want to spend that much right now. What do you guys think I should do? And is it worth the trouble to get a 85mm throttle body and a different mass air?

Thanks

Stock 6.0's run the same intake manifold, throttle body, intake tubing, MAF, and air box as the 5.3's. I think you could probably benefit from a new intake manifold and a larger throttle body, but you'll be wasting your money on a new MAF.

That's what I'm running. There's some fab work involved to make it work with return style fuel rails and a cable throttle body, since all of the 90mm trucks use ETC. The LS2 truck manifold also doesn't flow much better than a stock one. If he's going to go through the trouble of a manifold swap it would be better worth his time to do either an LS6 manifold or a FAST 90.

MAF is a waste of money unless you run a TB spacer and Tornado with it.

TB won't really matter unless you change the manifold also.

I'm going to just save some money to go with the fast 90 set up. But that won't be til this coming summer after the baby is born.
