i'll wait until i get the dyno numbers to see what i may change in the setup. im not looking for a dyno queen or something i can turn to 7k. i drive this every day and i wanted everything i worked on be better than it should be so i know there is more left on the table if needed.

Probably would've gotten nicer responces if you put that in your first post

Anyways, it should still run pretty hard, but with a good tune you can make just about any setup streetable

I agree. Since I've had my truck re-tuned it runs a hell of a lot better around town. I think my highway milage dropped a little to be honest but with a large cam and stock converter it runs fine in the city.

I read that the lift determines how broad or peaky the TQ curve is... The higher the lift the more broad, the lower the lift the more peaky...

Either way should be a nice setup, congrats!

I've also read that more lift will equal higher peak hp numbers, at a higher RPM.

Sounds like a nice setup, it should run real strong. You shouldn't have any worries about changing valve springs pre-maturely with the mild lift on that cam

I'll bet that the EGR only had a bit part to play in all of that carbon BTW, wouldn't doubt if it was a combo of the rich factory tune (when you had a factory tune) and the oil that gets sucked in through the PCV valve, as well as the EGR. I'd recommend investing in an oil catch can if you don't already have one

The IMG tag isn't closed on the last pic and it isn't showing up...
