Ive been thinking about this for a while now. Just looking through lists of peoples mods, I havent been able to find 1 person with an electric water pump on a 99-04 truck. I have done some research and found that on the pump for the LS1, the pulley is to narrow and has problems with the belts coming off. Talking to a friend of mine at thunder racing, there is a pump that is set up for an LS1 runnning a procharger with the pulley being about an inch wider. That would be perfect for our trucks. The dyno graphs show great gains all through the RPM range. The price is a little steep, but Im intrested to see there are any other issues with running this. Has anyone had expierience with these pumps? What about problems associated with running one?

 

Gustin had one on his truck for a while. Maybe he will chime in. Another member had one also but, I don't think he comes on here anymore do a very bad transaction he did in the classifieds. His handle was highgmc I think. Try a search on those two names and see if you come up with anything.
