So two/three trucks did it out of how many? MOST guys cant do it.

By all means, you CAN do it and you should try, but you need the right set up to do it. Just throwing on some bolt ons, cam stall isnt enough.

You would need to make about 550 hp at the crank, and 475 hp to the ground to run 12.4. I am hoping to run 12.2 with all my stuff in my sig.

I put 340 to the wheels and ran a 12.7 in 3000+ DA'. Anything is possible, go for it!

These guys are running these times in better DA's, but being from LA you may see the same kinds of weather. You have to realize that poeple post up their best times, not their worst or average. Nothing is consistant enough to run spot on E.T. everyday no matter what the conditons are.

well i gues you guys who say it isnt possible cam n bolt ons only are gonna get proven wrong. another friend of mine has everything the same as this truck minus stall and trans n runs consistent 13.4 at 104-105 and 12.2 on 100 shot. it will run mid 12s if not faster with cam n full bolt ons when we are done. i was asking for opinons of the easiest way to do it and what cam everyone recommend to do it not for everyone to tell me it wasnt possible

220+ cam, longtubes and a 3600+ converter is the only way, trucks are heavy and you need all the lowend you can get to get a good e/t,
