The mighty 6.0 has fallen.

The mighty 6.0 has fallen.
Well last week, when I was taking off the blower I found motor oil inside the intake. I had recently replaced the PCV to the new updated style so I thought the new one was sticking and the boost was blowing air through the crankcase and then the vent tube. I replaced the valve and gave it no further thought.
Sunday, I was checking the A/F ratio on the juice and got alittle stumble. The driver's side exhaust was blowing white smoke, coolant. I thought is was just a head gasket until I pulled the head today. The #7 piston has a big chuck missing, lucky for me the piece of the piston got hammered against the head. The cylinder wall is also cracked.
I believe the motor was wounded before the juice and the juice found the weak point. Once finding the weak point it beat the **** out of it. 9 bottles of 100 shot, 2 of 8lbs of boost, 3 months of 12lbs, 2 months of 15lbs, three shots of 125 shot, and countless F-bodies and Mustangs. One dead stock 6.0 long block.
A moment of silence, for a fallen warrior.

Damn sorry to hear she gave up
You gave here hell though
Gotta admit these motors will take a tonne to break with the right amount of fuel and tuning you can get pretty far with them
What's next for you ?
I know I'll soon be whistling a new tune under the hood

Should have bought a ricer... I hear those things hold up to super-turbo chargers and nitros. Maybe that is just around here in VA. HEHE Sorry to hear about that man, going through a tranny and a rearend right now myself, guess you have already been through those dark days, any thoughts??

Hell yeah yo. You can add a super-fabo Turbo-super-nitro pack to a B16 and make like 150hp and -50 ft/lbs yo! Man, thats hella fat. lol
Least it handled that much for that long...now you know you can beat the **** outta the engine and she'll still tick...like a grenede w/ the pin pulled. lol

Dont know that much about them, most around here have a picnic table for a wing (guess so there trunck...or deck lid dosnt fly up) and a fart can. I tryed to mess with an orange eclipse today and he had that badass roof indunction on top, dont know what that was for, but his girl was hot...think she belonged in a big slow truck

I thought his 5.3 was toasted and replaced with the 6.0 under warranty. You going to get the same warranty treatment on this motor?
Sorry for the bad luck. Just think of it as a slight delay, not a major failure.

hope mine is not going, I noticed some oil was blowing but when I pulled my heads saturday. The cylinders looked like new, timing chain was fine, pushrods were straight and literally no wear on the cam. I am probably just paranoid. Trans on the other hand looks like it is going(brown fluid).

That's really to bad . Think of it this way: She went to a better place and she had a good run. Best of luck with the new motor whatever she may be. Rolling Thunder, thats true here in California too. Why in the hell do pretty girls like the import guys ? I'm not fast but I've beat imports before. I just don't understand it, WHY GOD WHY????
