what is a good mild cam that i can run reliably. on pump gas and with little tuning. And with pretty good gas mileage

What size engine and mods?

 

a 4.8 or 5.3 that cam is very mild and will produce fgood lowend and a extended top end with very good manners and very little tuning.

 

I have that cam and i love it so far. Just bump the idle and all is good

 

For a mild truck with no custom tuning, get a custom ground Comp XE high lift 208 212 .554 .558 114 +0. Should idle great, make very strong torque, yet pull good to 6200 (limit of hypertech).

do u know if the sell a low lift version of that cam? im looking for something mild, just for around town, torquey, but that will pass smog in cali . i have a nelson tune so i can get a re-tune for the cam.
