by TM he means torque management, when you get on it it takes power away from your motor to save your transmission..so if you take that away, yes it will shorten the life of your tranny but whatever, you pay to play lol.....and dont get shorties, you wont see as much difference than if you went with the real men headers lol...get rid of the programmer and get you a good tune from a reputable guy....best thing you could do if you dont know anything, make yourself a friend that knows a lot about trucks/cars and hang out with him....or just stay on here all the time lol

The jbas are easy for me to install and the price was right on the headers. How do you get rid of the TM.

what kind of difference are we talking. I should still see some increase with the shortys? I was able to get a pair of JBA shorty for 350 to my door. The guy that ordered them for me says they go for 516.

from what i hear on here quite a difference between LT's and shortys/stock manifolds. also you can get a decent set of bolt on LT's on ebay for that exact price($350) i believe, or LPPs for $100 more. SEARCH around on this site and do some reading, you will find alot.
also i think there was just a thread really recent about the ebay LTs being installed, at least the second thread on here about them..
