any way around this with out reprogramming ?

a friend said something about pushing and holding the cruise button right before you hit the limiter. ive never tried and suspect it dosent work.

are the reprogrammers worth the money they want for them, or should I just live with
the limiter ? btw nice lookin truck

Get a Mail Order Tune... Its cheaper than handheld.(if you go thru PCMFORLESS.COM)

and you can get some real horsepower out of it.....

Upgrade the tires to ones with a higher speed rating. You don't don't want to go 130 on 100mph tires.
I know you can get it changed as part of a custom (ie Nelson) tune.

custom tune is the way to go. a few companies to look into are nelson, westers and pcm for less.

Like said above get a custom tune before you get a handheld. Not only do you need to upgrade to tires that can handle the speed apparently the driveshafts can't handle it either.

Driveshafts? this is the first i have heard about that is it the u-joints that are failing or is not balanced good enough or what? Kinda scares me a little bit now.
