MSD 8.5mm wires

MSD 8.5mm wires
I've got some extra cash right now and was just wondering, is there a noticeable difference when switching to the MSD wires (smoother idle, quicker throttle response, etc..?) I've almost hit the 52K mark and was just wondering if I should replace the stock wire now that I have the $$$$
Are they worth it?

i didn't notice ANY difference after putting the wires on my truck...i went from stock plugs/wires to TR6 plugs and the MSD wires. they are good to have i guess, but not worth the money i paid for them IMO

Save your money! I just sent back some Taylor TV 10.4mm wires to Summit Racing. I had them on my truck for four days and the truck actually felt like it lost power, idle was the same. I put in some NGK tr55's when I changed the plug wires. I kept the plugs and put the stockers back on, truck runs way better with the OEM wires in my opinion.

I can't claim any huge performance improvement either...
But, remember to give your engine computer a little time to relearn after mods. If the plug wires do change the burn in the chamber a little, it may take a few days for the fuel trims to settle down again...

I had good results with MSD's in my 5.3
I initially had bad results from my Taylors on the SS. Had them replaced. I definitely got some gains out of them this time around.
Worth the $68? I don't know... If you can get MSD's at like $55, I'd get them.
I think they're well worth the money. I got much better lowend throttle responce, and smoother power throughout the rpm range.
