Default MSD Coil Packages

Direct replacement multiple sparking coils for many GM Gen III engines.
Advanced circuitry produces three times the spark energy of stock coils.
Direct bolt-in design accepts most factory wiring harnesses.
Complete kit with mounting hardware for easy installation.

The Multiple Spark Coils for GM Gen III engines are a welcomed performance component for high horsepower LS1/LS2/LS6 engines. These coils produce up to three times the spark energy of the stock coils plus they deliver multiple sparks to help keep the engine clean at an idle. This new kit provides everything you need to install including eight coils and mounting hardware!

Thanks to a different connector, not all Gen III engines will accept the MSC, PN 8245 Coil (Kit PN 82458). For those applications, MSD has introduced the MSC II Coils! These Coils have all of the same features of the PN 8245 Coil plus mount in the factory location and accept the factory connectors. The early style has the plug and electrical connection on the same side while the later style has them on opposite sides.

We currently have these packages on sale -

82458 MSD*Blaster Coil kit for LS1/LS6 engines $495.99

82468 MSD*Blaster Coil kit for LS1/LS6 engines $559.99

Orders can be placed online or by giving us a call at 1-877-482-9763.

Have a good day!

Stock wires are about 700ohms of resistance IIRC and the normal set of 8.8mm MSD wires is about 40 ohms per foot so you tell me

Oh yea. Theyre scary expensive!! My friend bought some. Seemed a well built wire to me. We sell alot of Granatelli stuff at work. Dont get much of it back, so Id guess its fairly good stuff.

I have been to Granatelli's for a dyno also, Great group of people.
Are you getting a Dyno tune ore just getting a baseline? If so who is doing your tuning.

Exclamation

I can only see people buying these that just don't know what to buy next and have plenty of $$$$ to go around.
Are there any benefits from these over the stock coils?
If so, lets see these results on the dyno.

Jim
