For all those that care, My 28x11.50 -16 ET streets arrived today, so Jegs finally has them in stock.
It's amazing how a treadless tire costs 170$ Prolly are made from recycled tires and cost under $50 to make. Oh well, as long as they hook!

How big of a stall are you running? With your wheel and tire combo you will definately be able to put every bit of power to the ground.Without a high stall convertor you probably will hookup so hard that you won't to take full advantage of the tires.Lets see some low 13s.

Whitt, No tranny modifications yet. I have the Yank3000 on order. I'm waiting on element sprag, servos, band, clutches from kds. Going in May 12. I would like 14.3-14.1 with just the addition of the et streets- stock tranny. The combo ways 35 lbs lighter each than the 20's on the truck now.

As light as your truck is you might consider a 3200.I was shocked how much grip the 9.5"wheels with Drag TAs gave my Tahoe I ran 4 pass until I figured out I had to flash the convertor to induce some wheelspin to get my best 60ft times. My first pass one the guys with me at the track told me the Tahoe lifted the front wheels.I really dought it did,but it hooked hard enough to outrun L-EATER's 6.0 Whipple rcswb Silverado.
