Default MTI B1 cam in a 5.3

Hey all another cam question. I am always on the quest for an inexpencive cam and wondered about this one. the specs are
221/221 .551/.551 on 114
This is fairly close to what was recommended to me
my truck is a 68 SWB with a 5.3 TB converter.
Thanks
Dave

it should work, but a 3000 stall would be more suited for a cam that size. Im getting the 220/220 .553 114 for mine. I considered the B1 but just found a better deal on a 220

Yea I may need to up to the better higher stall converter. I want to run the one I have now for a while. The truck is fairly light (relatively speaking )

Looks like a good choice Id go with a lower LSA or a bigger stall though.

i've got a t1 cam, same thing but a 112 lsa. i love it. just make sure u get a higher stall. 3000 at least.. i don't have one yet, and it kinda sucks.. but the cam really woke up my motor, and really pulls up top.

hum thanks all for the input. It sounds like this is bigger than I initally thought. I didnt want to have to turn this that high.
Ideally I would look at the tighter lsa but I am looking for a deal right now. I may try to get this and try it with the TB converter.
Blk, did Nelson tune yours for this cam?
Thanks
Dave

man you let the cat out of the bag
Yea I dont want to spend much and this one will probably get above what I can spend now. I may be better off just waiting and get a new "custom" one...

I am always looking for a deal...
