Cat's no mufflers is my vote. I got hit once by the law but he got me when it was wide open. I was lucky not to get a ticket for racing. If your careful it's not that big of deal.

Well the thing is lol. The truck was a college present from my grandparents..paid off and everything..warrenty and all. and they'll let me do cats-backs and wat not but I have to have cats and a muffler. Plus....the 4.8's sound like **** with no mufflers. Either Just buy a Race Bullet and slap that on..cuz I like those...keep the series and make a true dual set up with another series 40..which I happen to have lol. So as far as no cats/no muffler..cant do it ...Now on my 383 in hte 78'.....yea I can

I dont think anyone else has run a SLP loudmouth resonator on their truck. Trust me, you can pick up the resonator cheap, have it welded in and it'll sound deeper and better than any other muffler out there hands down. I've had 2 series flows, 1 series flows, dynomax bullets, borla, and now a magnaflow. Only reason I went magnaflow is because i wanted it quieter since I now have long tubes and cats. If you want a cheap muffler that'll sound good with your cats, get the resonator.
