No not if he still has the cats. See where the welds are.. thats about where my exhaust ends. Its not to loud but it sounds GREAT under nitrous.

But then i think my 4" diesal chambered muffler is loud

It shouldn't sound bad at all, i remember a few LS1 F-body guys just removing the muffler, and it sounded cool, and still made good power.

I have noticed a slight loss in bottom end power, but the mid and high end has increased alot. It's not that loud until your @wot from 3500rpm and up it screams.

Sounds sweet, but did you downsize the pipes to 2.5"? Why not keep the dual 3"?

Thats the only pipe that my friend had laying aroud. I thougt about it and figured that it still gets more flow than the sock muffler, because there is no restriction. Its just a temp exhaust until i figure out what the hell im going to do.

The factory pipes before the muffler are 2.5"... The ones you see here at the Y after where the muffler would be are around 3"... It then goes into a 3.5" tailpipe I believe. (I'd have to go measure again)
