Default Muffler design (innerds)

This is how far I got after about 7 hours of monkeying. I'm sure with how pokey I am it will take another 15-20 hours to finish both mufflers

Building your own mufflers? That's pretty cool, looking forward to the end results

It's a ridiculous amount of work when you don't have sheetmetal fab tools. Still kinda fun tho

Yea I'm sure it's a ton of work, but there's not too many guys who actually fabricate their own sound

Nice. I made a Corsa style muffler (per the cutaway pics i could find) the other day. Idle and WOT sounded pretty good but part throttle was just wayy too raspy. Probably build another someday when I find some better pics.

Yeah it would be ALOT easier to just build a straight through muffler, which would also flow the best, but I don't want it to be raspy at all. Hopefully this one will flow really well. I actually threw out this first model and I'm changing it up a bit. Got some ideas

Found some fiberglass-type high tech stuff from 3m that's long strand. Kinda spendy
