my borla isn't too terribly loud, its deep, and it doesn't rasp at all. its a 3" in/out and dumped, as well.

I had a 14" SI/DO magnaflow on my last truck. Still droned enough to give me a headache, and that was with a split rear setup, straight out the back. What borla do you have?

I looked into Spintech awhile back, but I've read here and there that they don't flow very well. I do like their sound though.

I was running a 3" center in/center out dumped right after the muffler before the rear axle and that thing droned in the cab pretty bad. Then again that was with Pacesetter LT's and off road y-pipe.
Now i'm mocking up my new pipe setup with a Classic Chambered Powerstick muffler.

I have the XR-1 Sportsman, and I think the dimensions are 12" x 4 1/2" x 7 7/8".

does the xr-1 drone? I've got my choice narrowed down to the xr-1 or the aerochamber.
