i have a borla proxs with no cats and love the sound..... there is absolutely no drone on the highway... at cruising speed it sounds just like stock until you get into it.... and it sounds good @ WOT, not very loud but loud enough... but I do have the 22"case or whatever the biggest case is... if I was to change to any other it'll probably be a hooker... I just havent heard one in person yet.. my brother is about to order a hooker so I get to hear how it sounds like, but he has cats.. if I like the sound I'll probably swap...

Bullet Mufflers?
Hey, have any of you used a bullet type muffler with good success?
I had a SLP Loudmouth from a friends SS camaro welded into my system. I linked the sound, very loud....and power seemed to be the same as with using mufflerless custom system.
Needless to say I sole the Loudmouth, and regret doing that now.
But anyway, how bout some Bullet muffler suggestions in this thread?

I just dropped an xfactor magnaflow 3in/3out dual muffler on mine and it sounds good. The guy at the muffler shop wanted to try one and see how it sounded so I said go for it. He said this is the one he is going to recommend to everyone. He said this is the best sounding 6.0 that he has done and l like the sound. Not much drone noise at all, deep sound, and at 70 mph it is pretty quiet. One benefit by it is no x pipe to buy and only one muffler to buy. Whole thing was $325. (duals straight out back)

Regardless of what flows best its still up to who is dropping the coin for it. I love my flowmaster and I wouldnt trade it for a magna flow, or anything like that. Flowmasters have IMO the best sound I ever heard, well short of open headers on a 350 sbc. My next truck will most likely have a corsa system or something like it. I like to switch up exhausts when I switch up vehicles.
Anyway, not trying to offend anyone, To Each His Own.

Yea but the more the mufflers flow...the more power you are able to produce. Flyer I sent you an email about your mufflers and setup. I wouldn't mind having the sound I want but at the same time I don't want to scarifice power. So, anyone else have a comment about the hookers or magnaflow.
