Why would the Warlock open create 10 more HP over a straight pipe?

the added resistance of the open warlock versus open pipes might cause a bit of a scavenging effect.

It would be great if it were tested on a LS1 engine.
For one, Corsa is not on the list. They do not cater to Fords I guess. At least not back in 2002.
Different engine will net different results.

Interesting info. They are all so close though I'd buy for the sound that I wanted.
Corsa, being a straight through design, would probably be close to the top if I had to guess, considering the characteristics of the rest of the field.

Aerochamber was the other one I was considering. I should be able to hear the Spin Tech tomorrow...getting installed today/tomorrow with the headers.

Not trying to be disagreeable, but just a thought:

Some people will spend hundreds trying to get a few more hp and a little more torque. There was a difference of 8 hp and 3 ft lbs. torque between some of them. So to me, that's definitely worth a consideration, especially given the low cost of most of the mufflers on there.
