Default muffler for sts kit?

im looking into putting a muffler after the turbo on my sts kit. i like the sound and all but im looking to make it a little more of a sleeper. i want to put a muffler after the turbo and route the wastegate into the exhaust before it goes into the muffler so it passes through the muffler and gets rid of some of the jet sound. im thinking of putting the magnaflow muffler, part number 14419 on. has anyone had any experience with this muffler? right now its a 3 inch pipe after the turbo that runs over the axle and dumps. i want to put it just far enough from the turbo so i can run the wastegate exhaust into the 3 in. pipe before it goes into and through the muffler. i guess my question is, is this a good muffler to get rid of the jet/turbo sound and does it have a good rumble with the least amount of raspiness? thx

Your boost will drop and your lag will increase. Not interested in doing cutouts?

no, ive had cutouts and they are more work than there worth. ive had a dynomax muffler behind the turbo before and i only lost about 1lb of boost and the lag wasnt much worse. and that wasnt even with a straight through muffler like the magnaflow. the dynomax i had was ok but it didnt sound great.

because the cutout that i got went out after 2 months, then i went with manual ones (u called in spoolin) and they kept leaking cuz the plate got warped or something like that. plus, if a cop sees that, im screwed. around here, they are kind of strict on the noise pollution thing. thats another reason why i want a muffler. i just wanted to know if anyone has used this muffler, magnaflow, p.n.14419. does it sound good, does it get rid of raspiness? opinions?
