Which mufflers sound good WITHOUT cats???
I am currently running no cats to a magnaflow x-pipe to dual dynomax race bullets dumped. The setup sounds good but im considering trying a different setup. Im looking for something with a good, deep, mean and loud tone. lol.
Im considering:
1. 2 chamber flowmasters
2. hooker aerochambers
I had a pair of single chamber flows on my truck before the bullets and they sounded good until i got rid of my cats. Then they were too rediculous loud and they had no tone. It sounded like a redneck truck with straight pipes at W.O.T.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should try next??? Im open to just about anything!!!!

your going to think im crazy but i have shorty headers, no cats and a single 3in pipe i had run to a magnaflow muffler and it was just to loud while cruising. well a f350 diesel got hit in the back at my dads shop and they had to replace the muffler and tailpipe on it so i go the muffler put on my truck yesterday. all this is exiting in stock locatin with 2.75 pipe. the truck has lost no performance and it still sounds very good at idle outside the truck. no sound inside at all hardly. also everytime i get on it the truck smokes out the tailpipe like a diesel does. i love it.

I've had both the Flowmaster and AeroChamber. I much rather the AeroChamber. I don't remember the website but it compared muffler flow and the AeroChamber was up there with Borla, Corsa, and Magnaflow. They all beat Flowmaster by a good bit. Then for the price you can't beat the AeroChamber.

I'm running ASM L/T, no cats, 2 chamber 40's Flows. My truck kind of has a unique sound from the rest of the newer silverados around town. Its loud when I kick, not bad while cruizing. Got a buddy tryin to swap me some Magnahoes for my flows but I have not decided what I want to do. My truck tone is kind of like the early-mid 90 model Chevy's with exaust.
