I put the thick flexplate on with my build. Great peace of mind and could keep your whole project from grenading somewhere down the line.

it is going to be a 5.3L to 383 build i still have not figured out the top end yet. i will be buying ls6 PRC stage 2.5 heads but the cam is still up in the air.
