BTW. Eagle, Scat, CAT, RPM, Probe, and who ever else has moderatly priced H beams, all get them from the same oversea's suppliers.... while it's said that eagles and scats are usually on the higher end as far as keeping tolerance, They all let crap slip out the door from time to time... I have seen brand new Eagle and Scat cranks need to be remachined to correct out of tolerance issuses. My buddy had 2 of his 8 brand new Scat rods Out of round. He had them all remachined and weight matched....

Doesn't matter really matter what brand you buy, just have your machine shop double check everything...

Not sure how hard you plan on running the motor but you may wantg to consider upgradeing the rod bolts to the ARP2000 bolts usually around a $90 upgrade...

I'm right there with you man!
ARP everywhere it will be needed, and a little bit of polished stainless

Wow, it's really nice to see a very well thought out build that develops quickly. I forgot you were the guy with the Harley theme going on. You have some seriously nice "children" lol!

Our shop cleaned up recently for some shots I helped take for their new website. I know how dirty a machine shop can get, especially when face milling rusty parts!

How much power can the stock rods handle with arp bolts? or couldn't you try to save a little cash and use some ls1 rods?

About 500 HP with aftermarket rod bolts... LS1 are the same rods And no he can not reuse them he needs an aftermarket rod. Factory is 6.098 He Needs 6.125 for the new pistons and the pin size is also smaller. .945 Factory pins and He needs .927 floating pin rods...
