So I got my head under the hood today and I realized something...I need better tools!!
I broke two screw driver's and a 12mm socket. I also can't continue until I get a set of metric deep sockets.
Kinda frustrating and difficult working on a car without proper tools. So here's a few questions until I run to Sears and get me a better set of tools...

Can I pull the fuse box and trash it or do I need to keep it?

Is this the condensor for the A/C?? If so I think I can keep it but if it isn't, what is it and can I throw it out too?

Power steering pump, keep it or trash it?

A/C compressor...trash it?

Oh yeah...what is this? Looks like a condenser but not sure, throw it away?

AND...Found out what happened to the engine!! Looks like a rod is sticking out the oil pan...

YUP looks about right to me

Here's the underside, I'm gonna drop everthing from the struts on down, have it come down as one big piece.

No more gear shifting

That Black Plastic Thing Is The Evap Canister For Emissions.

Most Of The Pumps Etc You Can Scrap... They Wont Bolt To A Ls Motor

The Fuse Box I Would Probably Hang Onto... We May Use That As Our Power Center, Or We Can Go To Painless, Or Someone Like That For A Fully Funtional Ls1 Fuse Block.... But Well Talk About That A Lil Later

Ok, sounds good. I'll scrap everything including the evap canister. What about that white canister, scrap that too?
Things I can keep and re-use so far as I know are the A/C Lines, A/C Condenser, overflow reservoir, and the power steering lines can be modded up to work with the 5.3L.

are you talking about the reservoir on the power steering?? or the canister with the black bracket going around it... the one with the bracket is the accumulator

Ohhhhh gotcha gotcha gotcha. Got mixed up with what you were saying. Ok so keep the white plastic reservoir that's attached to the PS pump and then the white canister that's in the bucket with the black bracket is the accumulator.
So I'll throw everything out except for the PS reservoir and the condenser which is the radiator looking thing.
