LoL you would be suprized but there tons of 500-600hp sr20det 240s and 700+ 240s with rb25det and rb26dett's. The stuff on those cars and strong and if they do wind up breaking then you just shove skyline subframes under it and they are concidered (bullet proof).

Yeah I'd love to get a launch like that off myself! That would be freaking tight. There's a 240sx on ls1tech that's running about 650 rwhp, I bet you he can do that! I wanna see that civette guy doing that, that would trip people out...seeing a civic to a wheel stand! HAHA

if its not too late, i would recommend holding on to the compressor and p/s pump even if they dont work. they may be needed for moch up purposes..... they may fit better than the ls stuff.

here is my swap....

there is more room than you think... i can change my plugs with a wrench! it just looks that way b/c of the angle. there is way more room than an f-body.

this site is for rx7 swaps, but it may also be helpfull. there are way more ls1 cars than anything else. www.v8rx7forum.com
thanks for the compl. btw.......

What are you doing for engine management? I work for Painless Performance and we have one option now and a second will be coming in a few months. What tranny will you be running? I didn't notice in the thread. What is the year and model of the 5.3L?
