Default is my cam to big?

ok my question is is my cam to much for my stock heads my cam specs are .576 in .589 exh 234 in 240 exh duration. i have a cai long tubes 3 inch ory pipe. i am waiting on my stall. and i have a black bear tune. would i be better off swappimg out to a tr224??? help me out guys thanks

dude that is a freakin big cam for a 5.3! idk if u would want that, i'm about to install the tr224, i would say from wat ppl say on here u would be better off with a tr224. because u would prolly need a bigg stall, but the bigger the cam the more head work u will need, like port, polish, shave, etc. hope this helps

With a cam that big, would you need to increase the injectors as well?

sure is big for the mods in your sig.lol
224 would be much better in your application.

thats what i was thinking its in and running its a pig out of the hole but pulls hard up top the biggest down fall is mpg they suck lol. my buddy is looking for a cam for is ls1 and wants mine so that makes up my mind. and black bear did a damn nice job on my tune for just winging it with out data cable info
