my Hot Air Intake
As you can see, I took off the plastic thing that goes above the radiator, so I'm betting that some cold air makes it over the radiator and core support to reach the filters. The filters and pipe are kinda small, but I got it off ebay for cheap. If/when I start making some power, I'll upgrade to 4" pipe. At this point I'm sure it isn't a restriction, and I was able to make the factory filter gauge thing work with it.
I intend on making a box to separate the filters from the rest of the engine bay and scoops that direct air from the grille area someday.
Any comments?

I like it, can you send me the ebay store or a link.How much did it run you, and does it have any idle problems or anything. I have the K&N FIPK now, but I like the way that looks.

Oh yeah, you will need some kind of boot to go between the MAF and the TB. I had the perfect size one laying around that was left over from my Impala SS. And I found a grommet at an auto parts store that worked perfectly to seal the restriction gauge into the hole that the Corvettes use for an O2 sensor of some kind.
For a higher power application, I would use something like this that a decent muffler shop should be able to make.
You would probably need to cut down the Height a few inches and maybe the width also.

Bad idea. Taking that top shroud off for the radiator is a no-no. Thats the only thing that keeps air flowing to the radiator. Plus, you are now taking direct hot air from the back of the radiator. Remember, hot air rises faster than cold air.
