Stocks are fine. If you want to upgrade get Comp's bearing kit that replaces the stock needle bearings.

Stock, but if you wanted to get fancy there are a few companies that sell trunnion upgrade kits for the stockers.

Do i have to do a LS2 Timing Gear or just the Chain?

Ive been spending alot of time cleaning, and trying to research stuff for the motor. Ive gotten alot of it all done as far as painting goes. Mototr is done, water pump is done, tensioner is done, ac bracket, bolts. timing cover are all painted. Satin black or Cast Grey are my colors. Just have to Get some other things off my 5.3 to paint down the road.
