cant really when the parts show, by that time i will be snowmobiling and the truck wont be driveable in snow!

i\ll put you up for dibs on the 8.1s and when there out if you still want them there yours

Got some new stuff today, intake will be a few weeks, but the TB came in, with my small tach.

Sweet build man. I just got my LQ9 back from the machine shop, going to assemble the short block. As for the cam... Not to sure yet maybe the patriot 226 112 lsa. P.S. Nice truck by the way

Thanks a lot. I'm excited to get it built but wone be for a while. No sense in swapping it with 3 feet on snow on the ground lol. Won't be able to swap until my dads cutlass iodine which will probably be feb or march

I was always satisfied with my old setup buy it's been like that for close to 6 years so a change would be in order.

Got the heads off today cylinders look miiiiinnnntttt

Hey man when are you planning to slap it all together? Its going to be a fun setup. Im slapping all mine together tomorrow. Maybe I will have some pics to post up.

LQ9 w/ truck mani for now
All new gaskets and seals
Ls7 Lifters
Ls2 timing chain
SFI flextplate
ARP flexplate bolts
ARP Crank pulley bolt
Mildly ported and milled 243 heads
custom comp cam

I am thinkin about painting the block gloss black, Are you painting yours or leaving it?

Look at the pics on page 1 i already painted tje block satin black.

All the bolts are all rebuoldets grey or satin black. Everthing is being painted, my trucks a sunday driver and virtually new under the bonnet.

I got the heads off. The cylinders are perfect no marks nothing. Lifters are all smooth, everything is perfecr for the swap. Its all cleaned and ready to for the new parts.everything down to the dipstick is painted. Gotta use a small press to do the
truunion upgrade.

I wont be doin the install for probably 5 months..its time to put the truck away for winter soon and ill be busy sleddin...plus no point in doing theswap i wont be able to finish tuning the trucl cause of snow.

I plan on making the order with tsp in december to build the setup
