Thats what I though 300ftlbs at 3k rpms ******* outstanding area under the curve especially for an NA setup. It looks like youve got some 10-15 more past 5300 with an ls6 intake swap might be enough to get you to 400ftlbs especially with a CAI. Great choice

Definately time for a car intake to let that beast breathe up top.

Awesome set-up...it's nice to know that kind of power can be made with "mild" cam, not sacrifice driveability, AND increase MPG

I'd bought the wheels through GMAccessories and had them on my '04 Tahoe.

As far the intake, I'm not looking to go *****-out with this build. I'm sure that if I brought it back to SlowHawk, he could make any amount of power I ask/pay for. For now, 371/381 N/A is standing pretty tall on the PT dyno list and I'm good with that rank for a while. Next thing is a converter and move up the PT drags list. Later, I'll have him set up a NOS kit and see where that goes.

The two best points of my setup are it's completely driveable (even with the stock converter) and the torque is right where the truck needs it. As 02Sierra said, "300ftlbs at 3k rpms ******* outstanding area under the curve especially for an NA setup." That's what the sheet shows because that's where Don clicked the dyno on. He actually said today that is making that power down at 2k. So next time I go down there, he'll pull it lower to see what it'll do. But that'll also net lower peak HP.

Remember, this is with a 4x4 drivetrain Put my motor into a RCSB with 2wd and see what happens...
