My New Duramax
The new 2500 Extended CabDuramax 4X4 got 17.2 MPG and flies up the hills. Might be a little sluggish on the start,(I drive a 10 second car if its running), but when its rolling, move over. I was passing a semi-truck at about 75 mph then floored it; turbos kicked in my truck jumped out even at that speed. Wife said it put a grin on my face ( the truck . It easily gets around most anything, even that long semi-truck, and it doesen't matter if your going uphill. Hills have little or no effect on your speed. Set this truck on cruise and it will not go in to passing gear up a hill period. Now Pikes Peak might be different. This Duramax engine easily out performs my 98 Z-71 (which it should). Don't get me wrong, its no drag racer. Now if I can get one of the performance chips ;;;;
