My piston definately had the dish like the picture BigTex posted, it also had a big X in the middle of each piston. Infact the pistons looked exactly like the ones on the engine page of the 1999 Silverado brochure.

Hrm.....now I'm totally confused ???

Well...JERRY2500 and I both have flat-tops, and 99 2500 seems to have dished...and we ALL have the SAME kind of truck, I just don't see rhyme or reason here

This is weird, now i wish i would of took pic. But like Yelo mine are flat.
