Default My turn!

So I FINALLY got time to jack with my OWN stuff for a change rather than messing with everyone else's stuff. Hoorah!

Anyway, in about 2 weeks, im dropping in the following:

American Racing Headers 1 3/4 LT headers w/ cats
Borla ProXS mufflers (with above)
ported 243 heads, PAC springs, .041 MLS gasket, stock (new) head bolts, gaskets, ls7 lifters, new lifter guides, ect.
custom 226/232 @ 112, .600/.600 (via bullet cams)
stallion 3200 multi disk stall converter w/ lockup

Still looking for multec 2 injectors that will work out. Should make just shy of 500hp @ the fly. Looking for at least 42lbs or higher.
Still need advice on stock 2500HD fuel pump flow rating.
Still need advice on what throttle body to use (mine's a 3 bolt w/ throttle cable)
Sticking with stock LQ4 intake manifold, heard no issues under 600hp.
Turning off the EGR, but not deleting unless ARH headers have no provision- should be here Friday. Didn't ask, and don't care- can go either way.

If its not on this list, assume it is stock, because it is. If I missed anything, don't hesitate to kick my *** and suggest parts, I like the abuse.

Will install headers this weekend first (to save time later) and do top/cam swap the following. Tuning will be done by LMR in Houston using HP Tuner software.

Well I got the headers done. As it turns out, ARH does not make headers specifically for the 2500HD, so there's a little bit of tweeking involved but nothing major. For the 4L80E you need to shave off 2" of the passenger side bellhousing (it really sticks out for no good reason, not a big deal to remove) to clearance the header, but beyond that, easy day. Ended up fabbing the rest of the exhaust after the pipes included because on the 2500 you have a cat after the 2 bolt flange connection that needs to be deleted, and the 02 harness is very long, so it can be easily relocated. Still just as quiet as before which is great, and pulls a lot harder up top.

Next weekend (injectors willing) I will toss on the 243's and the cam/lifters ect and get down to LMR for tuning. Probably going to swap everything but injectors, drive down and swap injectors in the parking lot.

Depending on amount of miles, you might consider a new oil pump and timing set.
