Lightbulb n2o or Magna

Sorry its me again guys, but i need to know what is going to be better in the long run. A magna vs 75-100 shot. Now remember the magna for my truck (97 5.7) is non-intercooled & non RADIX, it dosnt even add 100rwhp. The n20 adds 110 at 100 shot and 78 at 75 shot. I am deffinatly getting a low-end hyd. roller cam, headers, cut-outs, distributor/plugs/wires, alum. intake, and some kind of tune (havnt decided). I need to know if the 3k Magna is worh it, or the $600 nitrous kit is a better deal. Nitrous is only when u use it, and the s/c has power all the time. Does anyone know which of them is going to be harder/easier on my motor, and which will perform better. Sory for all the questions.....need some help

Personally I would say S/C it. You don't have to refill it it has power all the time. Can help your gas mileage if you don't drive like a mad man. It depends if you can afford it though. Nitrous is always a relatively cheap way to go fast.

I had a side-mount for a while with LTs, cat back, and 1.85 rockers I made 100 more rwhp than stock. It makes good power in the summer, but not nearly as much as when its cold out. If you install it with a meth kit it would help a lot on hot summer days.

Magna - the Power is always there
Nitrous - Have to have the bottle full
Magna - Lots of $
Nitrous - Cheap
Magna - IMO easier on the motor
Nitrous - can add more for more hp
Magna - hp limited to pulley size

If it was me, I add them both but thats just the kinda guy I am

I think that its pretty hard to beat the raw power of nitrous. Its instant, no lag, weather conditions dont matter, and provides alot of tq.

Other than that, it sucks to not be able to have it on all the time, when just part throttle, etc.

If you get the charger, u can always add a 50 shot or so when needed for the track or just a race. Make sure you got good fuel, and good tuning... and you should be alright.

I plan on adding about 100hp naturally asp. anyway. The 75-125 shot is gonna be for reserve. I dont think the magna for my truck is worth it 3k for 50rwhp..... dunno
